Hot-Dog or Ice Cream Social
Click here for the H.Ed.G.E. Your Bets™ Research Logic Model.

With some planning, a social event in a prominent location outdoors can be a fun and educational feast all at once. Hot dogs provide much needed protein for those hungry college students or you could offer a special treat of ice cream for those who have studied hard for mid-terms.

Your campus radio station can broadcast from the green for extra entertainment. You can provide T-shirts to thank people for participating and taking a short quiz. You can give away water bottles/frisbees/stress balls at a table of informational brochures and fact sheets.

Materials for distribution:

  • 200-300 copies of the Quick Quiz
  • Co-occurring disorders fact sheet
  • College fact sheets
  • College brochures
  • College posters
