Hot-Dog or Ice Cream Social

With some planning, a social event in a prominent location outdoors can be a fun and educational feast all at once. Staff and student volunteers can give away grilled or steamed hot dogs under a tent outdoors, or ice cream sundaes indoors or out, along with a quick quiz.

Materials for distribution:

• 200-300 copies of the Quick Quiz
• Co-occurring disorders fact sheet
• College fact sheets
• College brochures
• College posters 

For extra entertainment and attention, your campus radio station can broadcast from the location. You can give away water bottles/frisbees/stress balls at a table of informational brochures and fact sheets.
