For little or no cost, a booth in the atrium of the gymnasium can be set up with brochures and fact sheets that detail the risk factors and warning signs of problem gambling as relates to the NCAA and sports gambling. Giveaway items can sometimes (with the school's administrative permission) be distributed by the mascot and some volunteers during half-time.

With a little more money and some planning, an event can be planned to give away steamed hot dogs or ice cream sundaes in the atrium of the gymnasium, with information on problem gambling and/or brief discussions with a quiz.
