  • A major depressive disorder is likely to occur in 76% of pathological gamblers.

  • 1 out of 9 students at a CSU has a gambling problem related to substance abuse and food related issues.

  • Gambling rate is 2 times higher for CSU students than the general public.

  • Internet gambling is more addictive than other types and is more accessible.

  • College athletes have higher rates of problem gambling than other students.
