The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) partnered with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) Problem Gambling Services division to lead a Youth and Gambling Awareness Project in Connecticut. The goal of this project was to engage middle and high school aged youth in creating an awareness campaign on the signs and risks of underage and problem gambling. Youth participants and adult advisors created and produced the PSAs to be shared through this initiative and at local events in their communities.
